Ashley Olson: WheelchairTraveling.com

by Mary Mazzoni on April 1, 2012

Ashley Lynn Olson is an adventurous young woman with a passion for travel.

She loves to immerse herself in diverse cultures and explore natural beauty. Ashley says she’s always transformed by the journey.

One of her favorite quotes:

“Certainly travel is more than the seeing of sights, it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.” – Miriam Beard

As a traveler who uses a wheelchair, Ashley has overcome all sorts of barriers. She loves to share her stories, and she’s found that others do, too. So she’s created a dynamic on-line community of adventurers.

 Tips, reviews and resources

At WheelchairTravelers.com, you’ll learn from fellow travelers. There are travel journals and details about a growing selection of  destinations throughout the world. You’ll also find  lodging reviews, along with the low-down on transportation. Links to many travel planning resources are also provided.

You can register at the site for free. And there are goodies!

Registered members access discounts on tours and hotels. If you choose to write for the site about your travel experiences, you’ll qualify for extra discounts. How cool is that?

Some words artistically rendered on her Facebook Page:

Remember Who You Are

Happiness is Not a Destination, It’s a Way of Life
