Life After IEPs is one year old!
Woo-hoo!
Thanks for making it a great first year!
Let’s celebrate with a party (of sorts). Alas, there won’t be cake.
But there will be prizes! And guests.
Our Special Families Village and Special Education Advisor will celebrate with us - and we’re waiting for some more RSVPs.
OK, so what’s this all about?
We’re gonna have a ….Survey!
Let me explain.
The best way to celebrate our birthday is for me to get to know you better. How else can I deliver posts and resources that really hit the spot for you?
I asked folks from sites like Special Education Advisor and Our Special Needs Village to join the festivities because - they want to serve you better, too! And, after all, transition is about networking, right?
The thing is, it may be hard for you to specify what you need and want because, well, sometimes we don’t know what’s out there.
That’s why we’ve put together a survey that lists a variety of topics from which you can choose. Menu style.
And you can tells us the learning formats you prefer so we can deliver information to you – your way.
Short, anonymous - with prizes
The survey is just 11 questions.
You’ll have a chance to consider and rate your priorities - giving us the information we need to serve you better.
And, yes - there will be prizes!
You can choose to enter a drawing to win a free customized Transition Action Planning Session with me to plan next steps for your child’s future.
You won’t even have to include your name or contact information on the survey.
We really want to know what you want to know. Won’t you help us help you?
Do it now!

Spread the word!
Know other parents of tweens and teens with special needs? Please share this post with them. Thanks!
Let’s team up to make this year your child’s best yet!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Congratulations! You put your heart and soul into helping kids and families navigate transition. Your sound advice, good humor, and emphasis on self care are an oasis. Keep up the good work and heed your own advice and take care of yourself, too. J
Josie - your encouragement means more to me than you know. Thanks for being you!
